Brockwell Park is once again set to be home to an open-air cinema this summer. Luna Cinema has applied to Lambeth Council for a premises licence to show a series of films in July. The company has screened films in the park for years, but usually pool side in Brockwell Lido. Luna changed the screening site to the lawn behind the lido in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the application: “We shall be screening one film a day at dusk on the lawn behind Brockwell lido with a full bar and food provision for consumption on site.
Luna Cinema comes to Longleat The Luna Cinema, in partnership with American Express, is back with a summer programme that promises to be its best yet – with over 175 screenings at more than 50 stunning locations, including Longleat in Wiltshire. It has also announced the first ever cinema screenings to be held at the exclusive grounds of the Sandringham Estate. George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said “There could hardly be a more anticipated summer than this 2021, post-lockdown, season; every outing we arrange is set to feel special and unique after so long away from the people and activities we love.
