Bromsgrove Sport and Leisure Centre. BROMSGROVE Sport and Leisure Centre is to reopen on April 12 after closing its doors for three months due to the COVID pandemic. The leisure centre, which is managed by sports and leisure operator Everyone Active and in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council, will be offering a variety of activities in line with government guidelines. The gym, swimming pool, climbing wall and spa treatments will be open for use from April 12 with the remaining facilities including the café for indoor dining, sauna, steam room and group exercise studio to follow from May 17.

The market will reopen next Tuesday (April 13) to coincide with the opening of retail shops and businesses on the high street. However Bromsgrove District Council are urging customers to stick to Covid safety guidelines. People are being encouraged to socially distance around the stalls and in shops, not to touch produce, to use hand sanitiser and wear face coverings, unless exempt. Markets Manager Jonathan Smith said: “We can’t wait to welcome back our traders and customers but want to make sure our return to the High Street is done so as safely as possible and in line with Government advice.
