Almost 22 months after 7,000 scribes parted ways with their reps amid one of the biggest showdowns in recent Hollywood history, all of the town s major agencies have now made peace with the Writers Guild of America. The lone holdout, WME, has agreed to terms with the guild.
The deal will allow the Beverly Hills-based talent firm, led by president Ari Greenburg, to represent writers for the first time since April 2019, when the franchise agreement with the guild expired. On Saturday, Jan. 30 Lion Country Safari is hosting a birthday party for a rare South white rhino named Elna. The venue will place enrichments out around noon that look like birthday presents. Guests should arrive around 11 a.m. to get to the zebra and rhino area out on safari. One year ago she weighed 100 lbs. but a year later she weighs around 1100 lbs. WPTV NewsChannel 5 did witness Elna throwing two full-sized rhinos out of her pre-party on Thursday. She wanted her enrichments of hay all to herself.
