County Announces Electric Bus Charging Project in Brookville Montgomery County has entered into an agreement to construct an integrated microgrid and electric bus charging project at the Brookville Bus Depot in Silver Spring. The project is designed to enable at least 44 Ride On buses to move from diesel to electric power. Executive Marc Elrich announced Wednesday that the county set up a Private-Public Partnership, known as P3, with AlphaStruxure of Boston. AlphaStruxure is a joint venture of Schneider Electric and the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund, will design, build, finance, own and operate the project. “Rather than buying the microgrid and charging infrastructure outright, the County partnered with AlphaStruxure, who builds, owns, operates and maintains the system. Tšepong agrees to termination of QMMH contract Tšepong agrees to termination of QMMH contract Pascalinah Kabi THE Tšepong Consortium has elected not to challenge last month’s decision by the government to terminate its lucrative contract to run the Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital (QMMH) on behalf of the state. However, the Consortium wants the government to immediately compensate it for the termination of the contract. It further alleges that the government would have to fork out way more than just the M3 billion which Finance Minister Thabo Sophonea has said is the termination fee. The Consortium alleges the government owes other sums in unpaid fees hence the demand for much more than just the termination fee. However, it does not say how much the government should pay. It merely says the amount is disputed by the government.

Fayemi stated this at the Ikun Dairy Farm during an inspection of the newly arrived 227 cows from United States of America and the expansive farm for the cultivation of hays for the cows. The integrated farm, which is designed to commence production of 10,000 litres of milk daily, is a joint project by the Ekiti State Government and Promasidor Diary Company.
