According to reports, the upcoming Apple iOS 14.5 update will feature the App Tracking Transparency that will give iPhone users the control which online advertisements can track them on their device.

On Tuesday, Apple hosted the Spring Loaded event that has significant confirmation about its upcoming products and updates. One of which is the iOS 14.5 update that introduces several features like upgraded Face ID recognition, a new Siri voice, and the App Tracking Transparency which is a new privacy feature for tracking online ads.

Apple’s nutrition labels for apps will go live today offering users more insight into data collected

Apple will Tuesday begin showing a nutrition label-like summary of the privacy practices of apps on their product pages. These will be self-reported by developers as announced at the World Wide Developers Conference in June and will include Apple’s own native apps too.
Users will start seeing this information now on all apps across Apple’s operating systems iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS as Cupertino has made it a mandatory part of the app submission process for all developers.
