At around 5.05pm on Monday May 3, it is reported that a burglary occurred at an address on Avenue Road. An item of jewellery was reportedly stolen, as well as some Turkish Lira. A 42-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 38-year-old man from Poole have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Jimmy Loveridge Following their convictions, Loveridge received a jail term of 10 years, while Smith was sentenced to five years, and Johnson four years and four months. This is in relation to an incident that happened on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, when Loveridge was driving a Mercedes that had been reported as stolen, on the wrong side of the B4011 near Boarstall, with Smith and Johnson as passengers. The car that Loveridge was driving crashed into another vehicle, a Mitsubishi Warrior, which was travelling in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident, a third passenger in the Mercedes, Rocky Broadway, also known as Rocky/Rockie Boswell, died.
