Gov. Ned Lamont has overhauled the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, prioritizing people based on age rather than on underlying medical conditions, job title, or other factors. The shift was announced Monday. The move represents a significant break from federal guidance, and Connecticut is one of few states to prioritize people strictly by age.

With more snow falling across the region on Tuesday, Connecticut will likely only see a few inches of accumulation, according to the National Weather Service.
A major storm dumped between 4 and 9 inches of snow on Sunday, about a week after another snowstorm dropped at least a foot of snow around the state.
The forecast calls for about 1 to 2 inches of snow Tuesday along the coast, with up to 4 inches possible across central Connecticut.
