Jail for Corsham man who was caught selling cocaine

Daniel Littlechild, 54, was left unable to work after a shoulder injury – hiring a stand-in who bodged the job. Someone he met at his local pub suggested he help them shift drugs. He initially turned them down but a few weeks later took them up on their offer. When police raided his Corsham home on November 7, 2019, he had thousands of pounds-worth of cocaine, 2.6kg of cannabis and more than £7,500 in a safe beneath the stairs.

Dog theft: Police issue e-fit over attempted dognapping in Corsham Police are looking for a man and a woman, in connection with an attempted theft of a dog in Corsham last month.  A woman was out walking her dog near the alleyway between Priory Street and Charles Street, at around 4.30pm on Thursday, March 25 when an unknown man and woman approached and engaged her in conversation.  The woman suspect then tried to grab the dog. The owner managed to fight her off but was punched in the head by the thief before the couple ran off empty handed. The female thief was described as white with an orange tan, aged in her 30s, with dark hair, around 5ft 3in tall of medium build.  She was wearing gold hooped earrings and dark clothing.
