CARICOM, Cuba heads meet as virtual summit gets underway

On Tuesday December 8, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves addressed the opening of the 7th Summit of Heads of States and Governments of the Caribbean Community and the Republic of Cuba.
This edition of the Summit was held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic with the Vincentian delegation participating from Cabinet Room in Kingstown. Prime Minister Gonsalves delivered remarks in his capacity as Head of Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines as well as the current Chairman of CARICOM.
