Newly-crowned world champion boxer Josh Taylor was given a hero s welcome when he arrived back in Scotland after making history in the US.
The 30-year-old touched down in a private jet at Edinburgh Airport before driving to his home town Prestonpans where a crowd was ready to welcome him.
Speaking to the BBC as he landed in Edinburgh he said he was the happiest man alive .
But he revealed his title belts are missing after a luggage mix-up.
The Scot, who is Britain s first undisputed world champion in the four-belt era, hopes to be reunited with them soon when his bags arrive from Dallas.

A PRESTONPANS mother-and-daughter have lost more than 14 stones in weight between them following gastric sleeve surgery in Turkey last year. Taylor Murray, 22, and her mother Joanne Cluness, 46, travelled abroad after years of waiting for NHS weight loss surgery in Scotland. The duo say that the weight loss surgery has changed their lives and mindsets for the better, even though travelling overseas for private surgery is considered by many to be increasingly risky. Taylor, a business banker in Edinburgh, said that she felt intense pressure to fit in as a teenager after struggling to lose weight from childhood, despite eating well and exercising.
