MERIDEN â City Manager Tim Coon couldnât accept a raise last September because of the economic impact of coronavirus, he said Monday.
âI thought it would be most appropriate [to consider receiving a raise] when we are outside the pandemic and we know what the economy looks like,â Coon said.
