Credit Yavapai County Sheriff s Office The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person. Authorities say Patrick James Higgins, 49, was last July 12th when he went four-wheeling with friends in the Bannie Mine area on the outskirts of Prescott near Walker. The vehicle they were riding in became stuck, and Higgins reportedly hiked out of the area for help. He has not been seen since. He is described as a white male, last seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. Anyone with information is urged to call the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, Prescott Police Department or 911.

Two drivers died after a head-on crash on State Route 89 near Prescott, according to Prescott Police Department Lt. Jon Brambila.
Just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to the report of a crash at SR 89 and Granite Dells Parkway.
They found two drivers who were pronounced dead at the scene near the wreckage, which involved a Toyota truck and a Dodge truck that was pulling a trailer full of masonry block, Brambila said.
In the Toyota truck, police also found a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old with life-threatening injuries, Brambila said.
Both children were airlifted to hospitals and are in stable condition, according to Brambila.

PRESCOTT, Ariz. A Prescott man was arrested on July 1 after a months-long investigation regarding multiple alleged crimes including sexual exploitation of a minor.
Eric Wright, 43, was taken into custody after detectives served a search warrant at his home near Miller Valley Road and Whipple Street, police said.
In March the Prescott Police Department began an investigation into Wright after reports that child pornography was uploaded to an online account allegedly tied to him, according to police.
During the investigation, detectives said that Wright also appeared in a video of himself engaged in an assault of an adult female without her knowledge or consent, according to officials.
