$8 5 million in rent relief is (almost) on the way for Lebanon County

LebTown (Will Trostel) County commissioners learned Thursday that Lebanon County is slated to receive nearly $8.5 million in rental relief for residents unable to pay their housing bills due to the coronavirus pandemic. A separate grant is also pending to assist people who normally live in congregant housing but who are currently living at a local hotel as a way to limit exposure to large groups of people during the global pandemic. In both instances, the commissioners were told the programs have not been finalized and are in what was described as “hurry-up-and-wait” mode. One program will assist renters who can’t pay their landlords while the other is for those individuals who normally reside in congregant housing.

How Mumbai Gallery Weekend Is Getting Its Mojo Back

How Mumbai Gallery Weekend is getting its mojo back After a period of reflection and renovation, gallerists hope to revive the in-person aspect of art-viewing. Some of the old-normal magic is expected to return as galleries, which gradually reopened towards the end of 2020, will coordinate to take in visitors for longer hours until January 17 as part of the Mumbai Gallery Weekend.

Popular Central Valley gym chain files for bankruptcy, blames pandemic restrictions [The Modesto Bee] Dec. 18 In-Shape Health Clubs, a well-known chain of fitness centers with locations up and down the Central Valley, filed for bankruptcy this week, leaving its future in the region uncertain. Like gyms and fitness centers across the state, In-Shape has weathered closures, reopenings and other safety restrictions due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The company said the decision was due to stringent COVID-19 policies in California. “We have been shut down as most of you know for the majority of the year, which is really almost 10 months now,” said In-Shape CEO Francesca Schular in a video posted on the company website.
