RANGPUR, April 15, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 92,111 citizens got the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with inoculation of 17,183 more people today with the second dose of the jabs in Rangpur division.
Health officials said the 17,183 citizens, who were inoculated with the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccines today, include 11,525 male and 5,658 female, of all eight districts in the division.
“The total of 92,111 second dose recipient citizens, including 63,905 male and 28,206 female of the division, previously got the first dose at least two months ago,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Ahad Ali told BSS today.

RANGPUR, April 14, 2021 (BSS) – The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases rapidly crossed the 17,000 mark in Rangpur division where the infection rate continues rising hastily almost daily during the last one month.
Health officials said the number of COVID-19 cases speedily climbed to 17,045 as 56 more patients were reported after testing 381 samples at the daily infection rate of 14.70 percent on Tuesday in the division.
“The infection rate is showing a quickly rising trend amid a declining recovery rate in the division,” Focal Person of COVID-19 and Assistant Director (Health) for Rangpur division Dr ZA Siddiqui told BSS today.

53,589 get second dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Rangpur

RANGPUR, April 12, 2021 (BSS) – A total of 53,589 citizens got the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine with inoculation of 14,570 more people today in Rangpur division.
Health officials said 53,589 second dose vaccine recipients, including 38,378 male and 15,211 female of the division, previously got the first dose at least two months ago.
The district-wise break-up of the second dose recipient citizens stands at 9,920 in Rangpur, 6,372 in Panchagarh, 7,843 in Nilphamari, 2,935 Lalmonirhat, 4,643 Kurigram, 5,339 in Thakurgaon, 10,947 in Dinajpur and 5,590 in Gaibandha.
“Meanwhile, a total 2,210 citizens, including 1,270 male and 940 female, were inoculated with the first dose of the jabs today in the division,” Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Ahad Ali told BSS.
