In a candid interview, the musician told The Christian Post what his mother, Adele, thought of his honesty. Nearly eight years ago Millard was approached about making a movie of his story after he shared his testimony during a concert. It s the most random, surreal thing that happened, Millard told The Christian Post of having his life made into a film. We thought they were crazy, but we were like, OK, whatever.

Years ago, I was talking with some folks when I mentioned Moses and the burning bush. “I think I mowed over my burning bush with the lawnmower,” one man said. This guy has a crazy sense of humor. But at the time, I think he was discouraged. I can only guess why. Maybe his plans weren’t working out. Or he wasn’t sensing the Lord’s direction, something God provided Moses via that bush. I don’t know the story behind the man’s comment, but I know we all face dry seasons in life — those times when seems like we’ve been trudging through an endless desert.

Priscilla Shirer speaks at the funeral service for her mother, Lois Evans, on January 6, 2020. | YouTube Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer has urged believers to join her in prayer after a teenage member Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, led by her father, Pastor Tony Evans, was fatally shot.  In a tweet that was later shared by Evans, Shirer, head of Going Beyond Ministries, revealed that 17-year-old Tony Evans Jr. who she clarified was not related to her was killed on Sunday. “Family, would you please pray for the family of @TonyEvansJr1 a talented 17-year-old athlete who was a member of our church. He was killed this past Sunday. He had a promising future at the University of Wyoming this fall. I can only imagine this devastation for his parents. Jesus, mercy,” she wrote.
