The date for revising group gathering sizes was announced early last Friday afternoon.
A possible increase in gathering sizes and social bubbles had been announced the previous Wednesday during the weekly COVID-19
briefing with Premier Sandy Silver and the chief medical officer of health, Dr. Brendan Hanley.
Under the new rules,
• social bubbles can increase to 20 individuals;
• social gathering sizes can increase with physical distancing;
• indoor gatherings can be up to 20 individuals with mask use;
• outdoor gatherings can be up to 100 individuals;
• organized indoor and outdoor gatherings and events can expand to 200 individuals with physical distancing provided the venue or space
Yukon's chief medical officer says adults in the territory will continue to receive the Moderna vaccine the only one available to them so far while the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine doses will be reserved for youth aged 12 to 17.

This time the devil is in how to administer the loosened health restrictions for travellers promised for May 25.
The government has said any Yukoner – and Canadian – who is fully vaccinated won’t have to serve out the 14-day self-isolation requirement to enter the territory if they can prove their status.
On Tuesday afternoon in the legislature, Health and Social Services Minister Tracy McPhee was under attack by the Yukon Party over the vaccine passports the government is working on.
