Former NSW premier Mike Baird will launch a campaign by a University of Sydney taskforce today which urges the Commonwealth and the states to establish a national roadmap to re-engage with the world.
The report being launched by Chancellor Belinda Hutchinson and Mr Baird at 2.30pm includes a new poll which finds the majority of Australians support a careful reopening of international borders once more people are vaccinated, and from countries where the COVID-19 pandemic is under control.
55 per cent of respondents support travel between countries where people are fully vaccinated and COVID-19 is under control (20 percent oppose).

Police allegedly found an illegal handgun and a fake driver s licence during raids at an address on Marine Parade in Redcliffe yesterday.
Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein today confirmed Mr Brooks, who was an endorsed Liberal candidate for the seat of Braddon, would resign.
