King Felipe rose above recent public criticism of his family as he stepped out in Madrid today.
Felipe, 53, was joined on the engagement by the Minister of Labour and Social Economy Yolanda Díaz, who called out his two sisters for getting the Covid-19 vaccine during a visit to Abu Dhabi.
But there didn t seem to be any conflict between the Third Deputy Prime Minister, 49, and King Felipe, 53, as they attended an awards ceremony together on Thursday.
The duo appeared to be in excellent spirits as they shared a laugh while arriving at the seventh Confederation of Medium and Small Enterprises (CEPYME) awards ceremony at Reina Sofia Museum, in Madrid, Spain.

Aquamarines are the birthstone for March, and the blue-tinted stone features in many royal jewel sets across Europe. This month, Royal Central is taking a look at our favourite royal aquamarines.
My all-time favourite is the Swedish royal Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara. The tiara has large aquamarines with diamonds dispersed throughout. It has been worn by Princess Margaretha, Princess Christina, Princess Madeleine and Crown Princess Victoria.
