Pune: Forty-five-year-old Shilpa (name changed), a widowed mother from West Bengal’s 24 Parganas district, used to work as a domestic help in state capital Kolkata. In 2019, she was lured to Pune in Maharashtra under the pretext of a well-paying job and pushed into flesh trade.
A kinky hotel in Stockholm, which offers guests complimentary sex toys with their rooms, has been slammed by police for glorifying the sex trade. According to Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, Berns Hotel in central Stockholm has received a ticking off from authorities for providing items such as vibrators and handcuffs beside the usual hotel furnishings of coffeemakers and bedside bibles.
“The hotel is trying to glorify something that we are working to de-glorify,” said Tom Eckerling of Stockholm police to the newspaper.
The hotel claims their chic clientele have reacted positively to the naughty night time assortment and says it has no plans to remove the freebies. A spokesperson added, however, that the items are usually not provided if the rooms are to be occupied by families with children.

State representative Mandie Landry dropped a bombshell yesterday when she marked Sex Workers Rights Day (March 3rd) with the announcement that she would author a bill to do away with the laws that make the world s oldest profession illegal.
According to WDSU, Landry is talking about nothing less than making prostitution legal in the state of Louisiana. During a press conference yesterday, the Democratic representative from New Orleans said: The younger generation, people my age and younger, don t understand at all how the government could ever enter your bedroom and tell you what to do. If two people engage in a relationship in their own home, whether they exchange money or not, it s between them.
