Protesters throw bottles and eggs at police at Gaza protest march Abbianca Makoni and Leah Sinclair
Protesters threw eggs and water bottles at police officers during a protest against the conflict in Gaza on Saturday.
Thousands of people flocked to Kensington High Street after marching from Marble Arch to the Israeli embassy.
Protesters scaled the scaffolding on Northcliffe House as police stood by and watched.
Tensions flared at around 4.30pm when demonstrators started throwing eggs and bottles towards officers, shouting “f the police”.
Speakers including Jeremy Corbyn made speeches in front of huge crowds on a temporary stage.
The former Labour leader thanked protesters for showing solidarity to the people of Palestine.
