Qatar Red Crescent Society headquarters in Gaza hit by Israeli forces  17 May 2021 - 20:48 Source: Qatar Red Crescent Society s Twitter Account The Peninsula Doha: The headquarters of the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) located in the Gaza Strip was hit in shelling by Israeli forces today.  In a post on Twitter, QRCS shared pictures of the destruction and stated that the shelling resulted in two deaths and 10 wounded Palestinians.  Condemning the targeting of its office in Gaza, QRCS will continue to operate relief in accordance with the International Humanitarian Law and emphasizing that the targeting of Red Crescent teams and headquarters is a violation, as well as its continued humanitarian work and relief assistance to those affected in the Gaza, in cooperation with the Palestinian Red Crescent.
