Six BJP workers injured in crude bomb attack in Bengal, victims blame TMC

Six BJP workers have suffered grievous injuries in a bomb attack in Bengal. (Representative image) A BJP worker died and five others sustained injuries after a crude bomb exploded in Gosaba in West Bengal s South 24 Parganas on Friday night. Two of the injured have been referred to a state-run hospital in Kolkata for further medical treatment. Police claim that the injured BJP workers were making crude bombs when the explosion took place. All of the injured were rushed to the Canning sub-divisional Hospital in South 24 Parganas, said officials. The injured BJP workers have been identified as Shovan Debnath, Vikram Shil, Arpan Debnath, Swapan Kurali and Mahadev Naik.
