New Bozeman flights look to keep local economy growing

BOZEMAN, Mont. – In the month of February alone the Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport gained six different flights including brand new service with low fares from Southwest Airlines to keep the money flowing into the Gallatin Valley, Airport Director Brian Sprenger said they have been working with Southwest Airlines for over a decade letting them know all about what the Gallatin Valley has to offer from tourist destinations to recreational opportunities. “There’s certainly more interest in leisure activities in places in Montana and that’s certainly of interest to the airlines, I think the airlines are looking for places that people want to go and southwest Montana is definitely one of those places right now,” Sprenger said.
