The long-awaited Post Houston project at the former Barbara Jordan Post Office at 401 Franklin is taking shape with the announcement this week of the first six vendors for its
Post Market culinary/retail hall.
Billed as Houston’s largest indoor market hall, Post Market will eventually feature more than 30 culinary and retail concepts in a 53,000-square-foot market within the massive mixed-use adaptive reuse project set to open in fall 2021, Lovett Commercial, the developer, stated.

As construction hums along on Post Houston, Lovett Commercial, the developer behind the mixed-use adaptive reuse project, on Wednesday announced six new food concepts heading to the downtown space.
When the development opens in fall 2021 at 401 Franklin St. at the former Barbara Jordan United States Post Office, the 550,000 square-foot Post Houston will be home to a rooftop park, sustainable farm, concert venue, flexible co-working space, bars and restaurants.
Salt & Time Butcher Shop
The Austin-based butcher shop and boutique grocery store from owners Ben Runkle and Bryan Butler will offer locally-raised meats, house-made sausage and charcuterie, and gourmet groceries.
