Why restructuring is only option for Nigeria —Senator Folarin

Share The senator representing Oyo Central in the National Assembly, Oloye Teslim Folarin, hosted a breaking of the Ramadan fast with some of his constituents in Ibadan recently. He addressed journalists on a number of issues on the occasion. SAM NWAOKO brings some of his thoughts:   Your party the All Progressives Congress (APC) is regrouping and re-strategising. How would you describe the outlook for the party in Oyo State after the registration exercise and reconciliation? It has been very positive. It’s been very good. Am i surprised? No, because the people know that the only way to salvation is APC. Personally, I’m overwhelmed because even political platforms such as the ZLP are collapsing their structures into the APC unconditionally. This has never happened before. So, it’s been very good. APC, for me, is the party to beat, not just in Oyo State but nationwide.

Massachusetts General Hospital planning $1 9B expansion

Massachusetts General Hospital planning $1.9B expansion April 23, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail BOSTON (AP) Massachusetts General Hospital is moving ahead with a $1.9 billion project consisting of two new towers to help care for its sickest patients. The two connected midrise towers along Cambridge Street in Boston would house 482 beds and new facilities to treat cardiac and cancer patients, The Boston Globe reported. After closing and renovating the hospital’s old clinical areas, MGH would net an additional 94 beds, on top of the 1,043 it’s now licensed to operate. Hospital officials first unveiled the plan in 2019. They said the hospital needed more space to meet the demand from patients, including those who show up at the emergency room and had to wait for beds.
