Original story: A man died of “trauma to the body” in Northeast Anchorage on Saturday, the police department said. Police initially classified the death as suspicious, but upgraded it to a homicide investigation by Saturday night, according to an online statement. Officers were first called to a residence on the 1200 block of Boston Street, near Muldoon Road, around 12:10 p.m. because a man was dead, police said. “Upon arrival, officers made observations that have prompted them to take a closer look at the circumstances surrounding the death,” police wrote.
