Two people hospitalized in 3-vehicle crash that sent truck airborne

MARION, Wis. Two people were hospitalized Monday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash that sent one of the vehicles airborne.
Authorities with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Highway 61 north of Dry Hollow Road.
According to an initial investigation, a man was driving his 2007 Ford Focus southbound on the highway when he crossed the centerline into the northbound lane. Another man, who was driving northbound in a 1982 Chevy K10 at the time, tried avoiding the Ford Focus, but the two vehicles collided head on, sending the truck airborne.

Beginning Saturday, May 1, the Boscobel Farmer’s Market returns to Depot Park from 8 a.m. to noon through October. May 1 also marks the opening of the Depot Heritage Museum Saturdays from 9-1, also through October. Depot Day will be held on Saturday, June 19.

Michael Scott Brindley, 64, of Boscobel, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel with burial to follow in the Boscobel Cemetery.
Immediately following the committal service, food and fellowship will follow at the Boscobel Bowl and Banquet along with a Celebration of Michael’s Life.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Boscobel Fire Department and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday morning.
