Evansville COVID-19: Officials suspect Delta strain hits Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. COVID-19 cases are increasing in Vanderburgh County, and that makes Dr. James Porter “suspicious.” Over the last couple weeks, Deaconess Health Systems has tested several coronavirus specimens and noticed differences in the strains. The pattern for the original COVID virus looked one way. The U.K. variant looked another.
