Tencent Cloud has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japanese cosmetics company Premier Anti-Aging for the use of its resources and technologies, while the Japanese company can leverage Tencent’s ecosystem to push forward the brand’s smart retail strategy and help expand the sales of beauty products in the Chinese market.
The MoU signifies the agreement between the two parties to explore the utilisation of Tencent Cloud services and solutions, supported by the Weixin ecosystem. These include the opening and operation of a Weixin official account and mini programme, the use of big data and cloud technology to understand Chinese consumer habits and preferences, and the establishment of an interactive platform to recommend appropriate content to consumers to improve marketing efficiency.
