Awantipora (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 16 (ANI): Five terror associates have been arrested on Saturday in a case regarding pasting of threat posters in Seer and Batagund villages of Tral, said Jammu and Kashmir Police. On January 13, 2021, some threat posters of the terror outfit were found pasted in Seer and Batagund villages of Tral area. Upon the said incident case FIR No. 04/2021 under relevant sections of Unlawful Activities Act stands lodged in Police Station Tral, read the release by the police
During the course of the investigation, the investigating team raided multiple places and rounded up several suspects. During the questioning of suspects and collection of other evidence, 5 terror associates were found to be involved in the pasting of the said threat posters in Seer and Batagund area and were accordingly arrested in the said case, the police said.

A police spokesman in a statement on January 13, 2021, some threat posters of the militant outfit were found pasted in Seer and Batagund villages of Tral area.
“Accordingly, a case FIR No. 04/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Tral and investigation was initiated,” said the spokesman.
“During the course of the investigation, the Police party raided multiple places and rounded up several suspects. SRINAGAR, Dec 23: Six persons have been arrested on charges of throwing grenades and for pasting “threat posters of election boycott” in Tral and Sangam areas in south Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
“Police along with 42RR and 180 BN CRPF busted a militant associate network of Jaish-e-Mohammad involved in grenade lobbing incidents in Tral Pulwama and Sangam areas of Anantnag district,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
“The arrested militant associates have been in contact with Pakistani handlers and have targeted government forces by lobbing grenades in recent past,” he said, adding, “The arrested persons have been involved in pasting of threat poster of election boycott in Tral areas.”
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant module in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesman in a statement said that Awantipora Police along with 42RR and 180 BN CRPF busted a militant associate network of proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad involved in grenade lobbing incidents in Tral area of Awantipora and Sangam area of Anantnag district.
The spokesman said that they have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Bhat son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat resident of Larow Tral, Umer Jabar Dar son of Mohammad Jabar Dar resident of Wagad Tral, Suhail Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat resident of Dogripora Awantipora, Sameer Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone resident of Darganiegund Tral , Mohammad Amin Khan son of Ghulam Hassan Khan and Rafiq Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Ahad Khan both residents of Handoora Tral.
