Share Updated: 5:56 PM EDT Jul 15, 2021 A person was struck by a vehicle while attempting to help an injured cat on Monday, according to Rollinsford police. According to officials, the crash was on Portland Avenue near Short Street. They said the victim, Michal Wing, 30, of Sanford, Maine, was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash. Police said the driver remained at the scene and has been fully cooperative. Officials said after the crash, the victim was brought to a hospital where they later died.The Strafford County Technical Accident Reconstruction team responded to assist with the investigation.
