BELTON, TX â The Bell County Jail is currently experiencing a water shortage.
According to Paul Romer, the Public Information Officer for the City of Belton, the jail is experiencing low water pressure. The pressure is not sufficient enough for the jail to run their boilers.
The City is working to determine the cause of the low pressure. Romer said crews have been working for 36 hours to identify the problem.
