Liverpool is well known for its vibrant night life - under normal circumstances - and now lockdown restrictions are finally easing, there are plenty of new bars worth visiting. The coronavirus pandemic has had a major impact on the hospitality industry, and has in some instances led to the permanent closure of independent shops, businesses, restaurants and more - but normality is finally on the horizon.

Pubs, cafes and restaurants in Wales can re-open outdoors for the first time this year.
From today (April 26), up to six people from six households are now able to meet, with social distancing and hygiene measures in place. In Cardiff, customers queued for a city centre bar as owners opened their doors at midnight.
Boom Battle Bar in Cardiff s Brewery Quarter decided to make the most of the new found freedom by opening from midnight until 3am on the first day of trading.
