Mac, who is a high school student from Romeo in Metro Detroit, performed “Foolish Games” by Jewel.

Tonight, 34-year old Zania Alaké takes the stage during the first live shows of the season on “The Voice.” UPDATE: Alaké was born and raised in Detroit and still lives there. She went to Wayne State University for music, but has been working as a banker for the last 10 years. She’s a single mother of a 3-year old and a 2-year old and says she hopes to give up her day job and sing for a living after her journey on the show ends.
