DAE orders 15 Boeing 737 MAX airplanes
DUBAI, 6 hours, 29 minutes ago Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), a global aviation services company, has entered into an agreement to acquire 15 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft valued at approximately $1.8 billion at list prices. Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer of DAE, said: We are delighted to deepen our already strong relationship with Boeing. Including this order, we own and manage 162 Boeing aircraft. An increasing number of global aviation regulators are returning the MAX to the skies. We are confident in the success of these aircraft as domestic and regional air travel is seeing strong signs of recovery. DAE, a long-term Boeing partner, has 162 Boeing aircraft in its fleet. The 737 MAX 8 is a member of the 737 MAX family designed to offer more fuel efficiency, reliability, and flexibility in the single-aisle airplane market. DAE recently announced an agreement to deliver 18 737 MAX 8 aircraft to American Airlines.

Belavia accepts delivery of Boeing 737-8
MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – On 8 April, the Belarusian air carrier Belavia added a Boeing 737-8 to its fleet. The aircraft is the first out of five jets that will be delivered to Belavia in line with its agreement with the leasing company Air Lease Corporation (ALC) signed in July 2018, BelTA learned from Belavia s press service.
Boeing 737-8 jets are equipped with cost effective CFM LEAP-1B engines. Fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by 16% in comparison with the previous generation 737. Fuel saving results in lower operational costs and smaller impact on the environment.
