FAQ
Q: Are you really going to have an in-person conference in 2021??
We are cautiously optimistic about hosting an in-person meeting in Boise in October, 2021. The organizing committee and the RRF board of directors have done extensive research and deliberation on this issue. We feel confident that we can host a safe and memorable conference in October. We have also explored every alternative to hosting an in-person meeting, including a long list of options for hybrid meetings. Ultimately the RRF board of directors made the decision to hold a hybrid meeting in which one day of the conference will be shared virtually (see below). This option will allow RRF to fulfill it’s mission of delivering a high quality conference to the greatest number of people possible across the world.

Boise Centre in Downtown Boise has been given an accreditation for facility preparedness.
The GBAC STAR Accreditation Program is based on facility performance and designed to “help facilities establish a comprehensive system of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention for their staff and their building,” the website says.
Leaders at Boise Centre hope this accreditation will draw businesses to Boise.
“The GBAC STAR Accreditation will help Boise Centre’s efforts to attract future conventions and visitors that generate local economic benefit,” Communications Manager Mary Michael Rodgers said.
As part of the accreditation, Boise Centre had to go through a training process which teaches protocols, disinfection techniques, and cleaning best practices.
