BOISE COUNTY, Idaho More than a dozen rescuers were called out the upper Boise Foothills Tuesday evening after learning that a mountain biker had crashed and severely injured his shoulder.
Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue Unit dispatched a team of 18 rescuers to an area near Stack Rock after getting an urgent call from the Boise County Sheriff s Office for assistance.

May 14 Idaho State Police are investigating a fatality on Interstate 84 in Caldwell that occurred when a semitrailer hit a man who was walking along the highway.
State troopers were called to the scene at about 5:30 a.m. Friday along I-84 near milepost 26, according to a news release from ISP. The semitrailer was traveling in the westbound lanes when it struck a man. Police said the man died from his injuries at the scene.
The man s name was not made public Friday, but police said he was believed to be in his 30s with no current permanent address, according to an updated release.

IDAHO CITY, Idaho â The Boise County Sheriff s Office is investigating three separate rollover crashes involving UTVs and ATVs over the weekend. One crash near Placerville left a man dead.
Deputies are urging the community to ride safely. Investigators say none of the six people involved in the weekend crashes were wearing helmets. In Idaho, riders and passengers under 18 are legally required to wear a helmet.
Boise County Sheriff s Deputy David Gomez said the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed more people outdoors, and now they re seeing an increase in waste left behind in recreational areas around the county. Deputies are asking the community to take their trash with them or dispose of it properly.
