The Tequila hitmaker - who has co-written tracks for the likes of Beyonce and Ellie Goulding - has revealed she was asked by the WAP hitmaker s team to help out on the rapper s new tunes.
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter has also been helping out her close pal and Cigarette’ collaborator, Mabel, on her next project.
Raye told Britain s Metro newspaper s Guilty Pleasures column: Cardi’s team love my perspective on things and really want to get me involved.
People might see me as a pop or dance writer but I have a whole different side I haven’t shown people in my music yet. I’m also writing for Mabel’s new project.

Apple Music recently announced the latest featured artiste in its ‘Africa Rising’ artiste development programme as Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer, Amaarae (real name Ama Serwah Genfi).

Sun, Jan 03, 2021 Gerry and the Pacemakers star Gerry Marsden breathed his last at the age of 78. He was suffering from an infection in his heart.
Broadcaster Pete Price broke the sad news on social media Sunday with a loving tribute to his friend.
He wrote: It’s with a very heavy heart after speaking to the family that I have to tell you the Legendary Gerry Marsden MBE c which was an infection in his heart has sadly passed away.
Pete Price added: Sending all the love in the world to Pauline and his family. You’ll Never Walk Alone.

Gerry Marsden, singer of the Liverpool band Gerry And The Pacemakers, has died, it has been confirmed.
The musician was 78 years old and died today (January 3) from an infection in his heart, friend and broadcaster Pete Price wrote on social media.
“It’s with a very heavy heart after speaking to the family that I have to tell you the Legendary Gerry Marsden MBE after a short illness which was an infection in his heart has sadly passed away,” Price said.

Gerry Marsden, lead singer of UK Merseybeat band Gerry and the Pacemakers, has died in the UK at the age of 78.
Gerry Marsden was born in Liverpool, England in 1942. His band Gerry and the Pacemakers were evolved at the same time in the same clubs as The Beatles. There were lots of Beatles parallels. They were the second group signed by Brian Epstein after he started managing The Beatles. They were signed to EMI. They recorded at Abbey Road and they were produced by George Martin.
The first Gerry and the Pacemakers song was ‘How Do You Do It?’ (no 1 UK, no 3 Australia, 1963). Martin considered it to be the first single for The Beatles before giving it to Gerry and the Pacemakers. The Beatles version would eventually surface in 1995 on Anthology.
