2 cops shot, 2 people found dead in ongoing police investigation in Dallas © Provided by New York Daily News Two cops were shot and two people were found dead Thursday during a domestic violence investigation in Dallas, authorities said. Patrol officers were responding to a shooting at a home around 11 a.m. when they were met with gunfire, Police Chief Eddie Garcia said. Both cops were taken to a hospital in stable condition as the department’s SWAT officers rushed to the scene to help find the shooter. About two hours later, cops “breached the residence” and found two dead bodies inside, according to police. It was not immediately clear if one of those people was the shooter. Police said they were a man and a woman but offered no details.
