According to the search engine’s year-end review of most-searched queries in the country, the tear-jerking romantic drama starring Paolo Contis and Alessandra de Rossi was at the very top of the “movies” category. “Through Night and Day” surpassed Bong Joon-ho’s Academy Award-winning Korean language picture “Parasite,” and the Netflix Original film “Enola Holmes” starring Millie Bobbie Brown. The list mostly includes internationally acclaimed titles that premiered this year, including the live action adaptation of “Mulan,” Neflix’s action-packed thriller “Extraction” starring Chris Hemsworth, and DC’s much-awaited “Suicide Squad” follow up, “Birds of Prey.”
