Mid-Missouri has seen quite a bit of rain over the last few days, and we re not done yet. The totals below are as of 5 AM this morning. We could see an additional 1-3 across the area between now and Monday night. As expected, the majority of the rain is staying over southern Missouri where flood watches and warnings are abundant. In Mid-MO, areas along and south of HWY 50 are to watch for any minor flooding. As more rain is likely this weekend, flood watches are warnings are in effect until tomorrow, and if they re not, they will likely be extended.

Snow, freezing drizzle accumulates in Nashville and Middle TN Natalie Neysa Alund, Brinley Hineman and Rachel Wegner, Nashville Tennessean Snow has begun to accumulate as another round of winter weather moves into Middle Tennessee, the National Weather Service reported.  Flurries were seen in Wilson County and across Nashville starting around 4 p.m. The NWS in Nashville tweeted that accumulation had begun at their offices in Mt. Juliet around 4:15 p.m. The snow globe has arrived, the tweet said. Three to four inches of snow are possible in Nashville and two to three inches are expected in other areas including Clarksville and Columbia. After reaching a high of 31 on Wednesday, temperatures will dip to 28 overnight.

TDOT reports icy road conditions in Middle Tennessee as flurries continue Natalie Neysa Alund and Rachel Wegner, Nashville Tennessean Although the wintry mix that slammed Middle Tennessee ended overnight, hazardous road conditions continued Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Nashville reported. All counties across Middle Tennessee reported icy roads, or patches of ice and snow, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.  Into the evening, neighborhood streets throughout Nashville remained snow and ice covered and posed a risk to travel, the Metro Nashville Police Department reported. Main roads & interstates are passable, but still have snow & ice on them, the department tweeted.  If travel is absolutely essential, please drive slowly & very carefully. Stay home if at all possible.
