From the first win in his first career start as a freshman to struggling through a pair of injuries as a sophomore to the rollicking rolling he s put on teams as a junior, the Corner Canyon product has done just about everything for the Cougars.
In what may be his final game, he saved his best performance. Wilson s early entry into the NFL draft isn t assured yet but after Tuesday night, no one will blame him if (or when) he does.

UCF Football: Dillon Gabriel excited to play dad s rival, BYU
PROVO BYU football was coming off a remarkable one-loss season, with a national ranking in the low teens and featuring a hotshot quarterback with a young gunslinger named Gabriel standing in its way.
Sound like the setup to the Boca Raton Bowl, which will kick off Tuesday at 5 p.m. MST between the 16th-ranked Cougars Zach Wilson and UCF s Dillon Gabriel?
Think again.
This Gabriel was Garrett Gabriel, who as a freshman at the University of Hawaii was getting set to face then-No. 18 BYU (6-1) in a midseason Western Athletic Conference game in the islands in 1989. It was the first of two victories over the Cougars that led to local Hawaii media referring to the Gabriel jinx.
PROVO In a span of two weeks, BYU s postseason aspirations went from a shot at a multi-million dollar New Year s Six bowl bid against a Power Five conference opponent to a berth in the Boca Raton Bowl, with an average payout of $900,000 against a team from the American Athletic Conference.
In a bowl season where motivation often trumps talent, the Cougars (10-1) are in a position where motivation could easily be lacking after a five-point loss to Coastal Carolina seemingly ended any hopes of an undefeated season and top-tier glory.
At least, on the surface.
Even as it built itself up as one of the best college football teams in the west with a win over Boise State only five teams west of Texas have just one loss, and most of them have half the wins that BYU does the No. 16-ranked Cougars still have plenty to prove as they prepare to face UCF on Tuesday (5 p.m. MT, ESPN).
