SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) - âTouch-A-Truckâ is returning to the Salisbury Civic Center on Saturday, April 17. It will take place from from 10:00 am-1:00 pm as a drive-thru event.
Participants will remain in their own vehicles through a specified route.
Salisbury Parks & Recreation says donât miss out on this fun, free and safe opportunity to drive through and see a variety of cool trucks and other vehicles and get a cool treat bag as you exit (quantity limited).

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations across the Capital Region will look different this year, including those at the Irish American Heritage Museum.
“We’d normally march in the parade, of course, and we’d have a party, [a] family festival back at the museum,” said Elizabeth Stack, the museum’s executive director.
Albany’s St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held virtually on Saturday, with a mix of parade history, guest speakers and Irish music.
A yard sign displaying information about human rights activist Malcom X sits outside the Donald F. Fracassi Municipal Center. The sign is a part of the “Walk Through History” display, which features informational signs describing some well-known and lesser-known influential African Americans throughout Southfield and world history.

February 24, 2021NEW DURHAM A year ago, just as Covid-19 was entering the public s radar, New Durham held its first town-wide Winter Carnival. It started with the idea of running an ice fishing derby for something different, and exploded into a dawn to dark event crammed with an assortment of energetic activities.
