BUCHAREST (Romania), December 21 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Monday that together with the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is lending 15 million euro ($18.2 million) to UniCredit Consumer Finance IFN, a subsidiary of UniCredit Bank Romania, for energy efficiency investments.
The loan combines 4 million euro of concessional funding from TaiwanICDF with 11 million euro from EBRD, the bank said in a press release. Access to green finance in Romania remains limited for residential borrowers wishing to make energy efficiency improvements.
