When we start talking about money, a whole bunch of double standards start popping up. How people in authority positions treat you. What you re allowed to get away with both socially and legally. And how, suddenly, some of the things that were trashy when you re poor become classy when you re rich.
Well, it s not only us who ve noticed the trashy/classy divide and the massive shifts in our perception that happen when we become aware that someone s rich. Entrepreneur Morgan, aka Cajunventures, posted a video on TikTok asking people to share the things that are considered trashy when you re poor but classy when you re rich.

“Equity” looks to be the modern era’s word of choice.
In just a few years, it seems, the concept of “equality” which is to say, equal opportunity has all but wholly been replaced.
Equity equal outcome is certainly setting the bar high. The grandest attempts at the utopian idea known in some corners as “communism” have failed.

To conceal the economic and social decline that continues to unfold at home and abroad, major newspapers are working overtime to promote happy economic news. Many headlines are irrational and out of touch. They make no sense. Desperation to convince everyone that all is well or all will soon be great is very high. The assault on economic science and coherence is intense. Working in concert, and contrary to the lived experience of millions of people, many newspapers are declaring miraculous “economic growth rates” for country after country. According to the rich and their media, numerous countries are experiencing or are on the cusp of experiencing very strong “come-backs” or “complete recoveries.” Very high rates of annual economic growth, generally not found in any prior period, are being floated regularly. The numbers defy common sense.
