Call of Duty: Warzone apparently requires all hands on deck for its third season and as such, developer Toys for Bob will now be assisting content development for the battle royale mayhem.
Taking to Twitter earlier today, Toys for Bob announced that it was “proud to support development” for the third season of Warzone and that fans should “look forward to more to come” in the near future.

The announcement however has birthed a few concerns. Toys for Bob helmed not only the Spyro Reignited Trilogy but also Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. With publisher Activision assigning the studio to the Call of Duty franchise, questions are being raised on the future of the Crash and Spyro franchises.

It seems like all of Activision’s studios eventually end up on its flagship franchises in one way or another.
Crash Bandicoot 4 developer Toys For Bob is now supporting Raven with development on
Call of Duty: Warzone Season Three, with the support expected to continue beyond that limited timeframe.

It’s unclear if the entirety of the Toys For Bob studio is working on
Warzone content, or if they are simply lending support while working on other projects at the same time. It’s not uncommon for Activision to shuffle its support studios around to assist with development on its bigger franchises.

The layoffs appear to have occurred as the developer has shifted to support development for Call of Duty Warzone, having announced its involvement on the game via Twitter yesterday.
