MK Stalin announced the list of Ministers along with their portfolios today. Governor Banwarilal Purohit approved all the recommendations of Stalin. Here are the list of Ministers: MK Stalin - Public, General Administration, Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Other All India Service, District Revenue Officers, Police, Home, Special Initiatives, Special Programme Implementation, Welfare of Differently abled persons.

Stalin’s oath-taking will be held at 9 am on Friday (7th May) in a small ceremony at the Raj Bhavan (Governor’s residence) in the city, amid the raging Covid-19 pandemic. The list of Ministers released by the government does not feature the name of Chepauk MLA and Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi (who has been at the receiving end of criticism regarding blatant nepotism), while also featuring only two women -Geetha Jeevan and Kayalvizhi Selvaraj.

Amid the COVID-19 situation, Mr Stalin has handed over the health department responsibility to MA Subramanian making him the Health Minister of the state. M.K Stalin shall be taking the oath as the Chief Minister on May 7th. The event will take place at Raj Bhawan and is scheduled to begin at 9 am. The cabinet members will also be taking oath on the same day. M.K Stalin has mentioned that the swearing ceremony will be a small affair and very simple even considering the covid crisis in the state.

According to Raj Bhavan, Stalin had sent a list of persons to be appointed as ministers along with their portfolios May 6. Stalin s cabinet will have two women. The ministerial list does not include Stalin s son Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has won from Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni. Here’s the list of ministers: M.K. It has two women.  Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Thursday approved the recommendations made by the Stalin regarding MLAs to be appointed ministers and their portfolios.  Stalin s son Udhayanidhi does not figure in the list of ministers. DMK had fought the elections with its allies and got absolute majority on its own.
