It comes as those inside and outside the sector locally are calling for a clearer roadmap for the sector to emerge from the pandemic. Clare FM 3rd May 2021 The position of the Chair of Shannon Group is to be re-advertised again. The Department of Transport has confirmed it’s engaging with the Public Appointments Service to begin the recruitment process for the role once more. It comes after many of Clare’s Oireachtas representatives have called for clarity on the vacant position, with the group having been without a permanent chair since arose Hynes’ tenure ended back in August.
