Doubts have been cast over the chances of Nottinghamshire escaping Tier 3 restrictions.
Speaking at the Covid-19 Resilience, Recovery and Renewal Committee, Jonathan Gribbin, Director of Public Health for Nottinghamshire, said it could be challenging for the government to consider Tier 2 for the whole of Nottinghamshire.

The director of Public Health for Nottinghamshire has offered a warning in light of the coronavirus vaccine programme.
Jonathan Gribbin told today s briefing that the launch of the vaccine programme should give Nottinghamshire residents hope moving into 2021, but warned the fight against the virus is not over yet.

He said: We can now celebrate the vaccine programme, which gives us a base to feel optimistic about 2021, but we need to match that optimism in the long-term with resolution in the short-term.
