This week it wasn’t difficult to chose who to feature: Najee Harris was used in a variety of ways that showed off skills well outside of those of a traditional running back. This is probably his “most utilized” game in Crimson, as he had a whopping 32 rushing attempts (with a solid 53.1% Success Rate and a 6.3% Explosiveness Rate). No other back accrued more than 4 attempts in this one.

For the All Graphs article, I’m sad to have to do a “special” feature by recognizing Landon Dickerson in what was likely his last game with the Tide. But it’s probably past time I featured an offensive lineman this season, as they’ve been excellent and contribute to every skill player stat that we spend time graphing and discussing here.

Tennessee’s regular-season football finale reaffirmed what’s been apparent now for months. The Vols got off track after an eight-game winning streak that spanned two seasons ended in early October. They’ve totally lost their way since then, wandering off into a wilderness of inconsistency and ineffectiveness.
They were dominated by Texas A&M 34-13 on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The score didn’t do justice to the difference between the two teams. The No. 5 Aggies (9-1) had huge advantages in both time of possession (44 minutes, 9 seconds to 15:51) and total yards (497-213).

Arkansas tries to get a little tricky with a double pass from Franks to Burks who chunks it deep down the field and it s intercepted by Brian Branch at the goal line.
Analysis: Vols Land Disruptive Force in JUCO Edge Rusher
Tennessee has struggled through the 2020 season to generate pressure on the quarterback. The addition of exceptional JUCO edge rusher Byron Young should immediately improve that situation.

The first day of the Early Signing Period has been a busy one for the Vols. Despite the changes that COVID-19 has had on the landscape of college football this year, the season has gone on for the most part, though that meant a late start and a later finish. As a result, teams are set to sign players while the regular season is still ongoing. It has been a day that has seen massive activity across the country, mostly with players signing where they were committed or flipping to different schools. However the Vols made news with a new commitment coming through in Georgia Military College (JUCO) linebacker Byron Young.

Leatherwood was the league s offensive lineman of the week, while Smith was the co-special teams player of the week

Two University of Alabama players earned Southeastern Conference weekly honors for their efforts in a 52-3 win over Arkansas, the league office announced on Monday morning.
Crimson Tide wideout DeVonta Smith was named Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, while Alex Leatherwood was named Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Smith recorded a punt-return touchdown for the first time in his Alabama career and Leatherwood helped anchor an offensive line that totaled up over 453 yards of offense.
